Intranet
In general
- How can we order?
BISCUE e-Learning content are supplied in the following 2 systems.
- (1)ASP/SaaS
You can order our ASP/SaaS by using the form in each page.
- (2)Intranet
You need LMS (Learning Management System) to use BISCUE e-Learning for intranet. Based on your system environment, we will submit the proposal that suits you best.
- When are the content produced?
BISCUE e-Learning courses are constantly reviewed and updated. Please refer to the "Last modified" in each title page.
- How much is the total cost?
The cost differs between ASP/SaaS and intranet.
- (1)ASP/SaaS
- The prices applied to our ASP/SaaS are on each page of our site. When the total number of courses (courses x users) of the corporate user exceeds 50, discounted prices will be applied.
- (2)Intranet
- Based on the prices applied to our ASP/SaaS, the number of users, the term and LMS, we will quote separately.
- What is a difference between DX and Rapid versions?
DX consists of pre-tests for self-assessment, movies with narration and its essence, summaries and exercises for each chapter, and post-tests for evaluation. This is good for students who'd like to learn step by step.
Rapid version including still images with narration and its essence, summaries and exercises for each chapter and post-tests, is designed for rapid learning even in mute mode.
- What is SCORM?
SCORM means Sharable Content Object Reference Model which ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning, an organization of US Department of Defence (DoD)) advocates as the standard specification for e-learning and promotes for use for all over the world. In Japan, METI and e-Learning Consortium Japan (eLC) are promoting the standardization based on SCORM.
Shubiki Corporation is approved as the SCORM Adopter for SCORM1.2 and 2004 by ADL.

- What is SCORM Adopter?
SCORM Adopter is an organization approved and registered by ADL after clearing the performance test for their SCORM conformant products by using the Test Suite of ADL.
- In 2002.12, BISCUE e-Learning passed the SCORM1.2 conformance test for content and we were registered as the 1st SCORM Adopter of Japan.
- In 2003.11, BISCUE LMS we use in our ASP/SaaS cleared the test for SCORM1.2 conformant LMS.
- In 2004.08, BISCUE LMS II passed the SCORM2004 conformance test for LMS and we were approved as the 1st SCORM2004 Adopter of the world.
- In 2007.04, BISCUE e-Learning II passed the test for SCORM2004 conformant content.
We are registered as ADL Partner as well.
This ADL Logo is permitted to be used by SCORM Adopters.

SCORM standadizes specifications for both content and LMS. By using SCORM conformant content, you can select any SCORM conformant LMS to use them.
However, specifications of LMSs which are present in the market vary a little in technical details. Therefore we recommend the customers examine the performance of content installed on the LMS before purchase.
We will provide our content after confirming the perfomance on the designated LMS.
- Can BISCUE e-Learning be used through the internet?
We have BISCUE e-Learning ASP/SaaS which delivers our content through the internet. You can order by using each title page on our site.
- How about customizing the content?
We provide Custom-Made services for BISCUE e-Learning.
By including mobiles such as cellphones and iPods, we will propose cross-media solutions that suit you best. Please see our Custom-Made Content page.
- If you have an outsourcing company in your group, ...
If you have an outsourcing company, we will talk with them and submit a proposal to you through your routine process.
As we already have alliances with various companies, their proposals could possibly include BISCUE e-Learning.

- What is the system requirements?
You can use BISCUE e-Learning ASP/SaaS under the following system.

We are sorry to say that BISCUE e-Learning will need Windows system.
- Is there a corporate licence system?
Yes. We will grant a corporate licence for BISCUE e-Learning.
IDs and passwords will be issued and sent to your administrator, and a debit note will be sent to your company.
- Can BISCUE e-Learning be used both at home and in the office?
Yes. You can access our site from anywhere by using your ID and password.
Of course, the learning records will continue even if accessed from different places. However you can access by only 1 PC at a time.
- Can an individual user see the learning status?
Yes. Individual users as well as corporate users can:
- Confirm which chapters have been completed.
- See the accumulated time spent for learning each chapter.
- Confirm the result of the exams.
- Restart from the point exited last.
- What time is our ASP/SaaS available?
Within the contracted term, our ASP/SaaS is 24/7 service in principle. About your questions, please send them to us according to the following.

- Please send by e-mail.
- (3)How we will reply to you.
- We will reply to you by e-mail as soon as we can.
Intranet
- How about the price?
The price varies according to the number of IDs and courses and the term of use. We will quote separately.
- How to use in the intranet?
You can use our content by setting up the environment as follows.
- Install SCORM1.2 or SCORM2004 conformant LMS on your server.
- Set up the system environment of your client PCs as follows.
