LETSI, international federation of ADL and 11 global organizations held the 1st SCORM 2.0 Workshop based on the White Papers submitted on Oct. 15-17, 2008 in Pensacola, Florida, USA.

IMS Global Learning Consortium closed public review and comment for the Common Cartridge v1.0 (CC) and entered into the last stage to release the 1st CC, a new generation of Digital Learning Services standards. CC plans to include SCORM2004.
SCORM Adopter approved by ADL
Shubiki Corporation is the first Japanese company approved as the SCORM Adopter by ADL who was formed as a developer of learning technologies in US Department of Defense (DoD) and created SCORM specifications.
ADL approves organizations as their SCORM Adopters by using their Test Suite. Our products have passed the following tests by their Test Suite.
- In Dec. 2002, "BISCUE e-Learning" as SCORM 1.2 conformant content.
- In Nov. 2003, "BISCUE LMS" as SCORM 1.2 conformant LMS.
- In Aug. 2004, "BISCUE LMS II" as SCORM 2004 conformant LMS.
- In Apr. 2007, "BISCUE e-Learning II" as SCORM 2004 conformant content.
You can refer to the Search SCORM Adopters on ADL site. By selecting SCORM Version 2004 at the column of SCORM Version, you will see the list of companies registered as SCORM 2004 Adopters.

At present, we are the only Japanese company registered as the SCORM Adopter for both content and LMS. We are also registered as ADL Partner. The logo is permitted for use by SCORM Adopters.
In Aug, 2004, we became the first SCORM 2004 Adopter in the world with our "BISCUE LMS II."
